(1) The Government of Nepal may publish notices in the Nepal Gazette and issue necessary orders regarding matters requiring prior precautions for environmental protection.
(2) The Director General may impose a fine of up to one lakh rupees on any person or organization who violates the order issued under sub-section (1).
